 Rules and Regulations

1. Each competing participant will receive 3 x 2 oz cups for each of the categories.

2. A panel of 3 judges will taste each of the assigned 2 oz cups with corn chips provided by the organizers. Supervisor of this event will number provided cups to the judges. Only Supervisor will know name of the teams. Judging will be blind.

3. Judges scores will be based on taste only: 1 point for tasty, 3 points for very tasty, 5 points excellent, 7 points fantastic.

4. Participating teams will be asked to donate $5 to the SYC

5. Awards: 1st place in BBQ category and first place in hot Sauce category will receive trophy, $100 in cash. 2nd place for each category will receive gift certificate $25 for Desperados. 3rd – 5th place for each category will receive Desperados hat.

6. Desperados Restaurant also will create a perpetual trophy that will have names of the winners for each category and will be displayed in Desperados restaurant in Lake Placid, NY
