The Lake Placid, NY – “I Love Barbecue & Music Festival” (ILBBQF)

Lake Placid, NY, home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic Games, is hosting an International and National level barbecue and grilling competition for the eighth to benefit the Shipman Youth Center of Lake Placid (SYC).  The competition is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS), the world’s largest organization of barbecue and grilling enthusiasts.

The ninth annual ILBBQF events (www.ilbbqf.com) will also include music, children’s activities, arts and crafts, vendor exposition, food demonstrations, Krusher Stunt Team BMX bike show and celebrity appearances.  We are expecting 40 professional barbecue teams from around the country and abroad to attend. On July 6th, those teams will compete to win the title of the Grand Champion of The Lake Placid, NY – I Love Barbecue Festival.  On July 5th – fifth annual I Love Barbecue Junior World Championship will be held. Competitors age 12-15 and 16-21 will square off for the title of the Junior World Barbecue Champion.

The beneficiary of ILBBQF is The Shipman Youth Center (www.shipmanyouthcenter.com), a not-for-profit community organization providing support to children and youth ages 10-18. The center was inspired by Thomas Shipman, a designated Lake Placid youth police officer, who died in 1999 and built the center with community donations of money, materials and labor. For the last 15 years, SYC has provided services to over 4,000 children. Programs include homework time and assistance, community services, recreational services, weekly family-style dinners, dances, and guest speakers. SYC provides a supervised, safe and exciting environment where local children can grow and develop as individuals.

Shipman Youth Center is 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization.

Official Title Sponsor for ILBBQF and ILBJWC- $4,000
Official naming rights sponsor.

1.    The ILBBQF will grant Title Sponsor the right to use ILBBQF logo and marks as well as terminology as the Official Title Sponsor, in its advertising, promotions, public relations, sales materials and internal communications.
2.    Title Sponsor will receive designated area (20 x 40) for sales, display and product giveaways.
3.    The Title Sponsor will have the right to display 12 banners (size 3 x 6) in the event areas. Four banners will be displayed at the center area of the entertainment stage. Banners must be provided by the Title Sponsor.
4.    The Title Sponsor will be recognized in all promotional materials including but not limited to newsletters, flyers, advertisement and posters. Four (4) full page                                                                                     advertisements in the Official ILBBQF publication (2,000 copies).
5.    The Title Sponsor will receive 6 VIP accreditations per day, access to the VIP area and 6 VIP gift bags. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverage will be available at the VIP area starting at noon on July 4th and through July 6th.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Dinner at the VIP area will be served only on July 4 and July 5th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
6.    36 :30 second commercials to air on local radio station (TBA) starting after July 4th at the discretion of Title sponsor and radio station.
7.    Title Sponsor will also receive a minimum of 6 live mentions daily in radio spots during the 2 week period prior the event and during ILBBQF on 93.3 WSLP FM and ROCK 105.
8.    Title Sponsor’s logo will appear on all volunteer t-shirts.
9.    Logo and links on the home page www.ilbbqf.com.
10.    20 complimentary general admission tickets per day.
11.    Lake Placid News post-event half page ad shared with other ILBBQF sponsors.

Official Gold Level Sponsor – $1,500

12.    Right to use the ILBBQF logo and marks as well as terminology as the Official Gold Level Sponsor, in its advertising, promotions, public relations, sales materials and internal communications.
13.    Gold Level Sponsor will have a designated area (20 x 20) for sales, display and product giveaways.
14.    Gold Level Sponsor will have the right to display 6 banners (size 3 x 6) in the event areas.
15.    The Gold Level Sponsor will be recognized in all ILBBQF promotional materials including but not limited to newsletters, flyers, advertisement and posters. One (1) full B&W page advertisement in the Official ILBBQF publication (2,000 copies).
16.    Gold Level Sponsor will receive 4 VIP accreditations per day, access to the VIP area and 4 VIP gift bags. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available at the VIP area starting at noon on July 4th through July 6th.  Dinner at the VIP area will be served only on July 4th and July 5th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
17.    24 :30 second commercials to air on local radio station (TBA) starting after July 4th at discretion of Gold Level sponsor and local radio station. Commercials (or copy) must be provided by the sponsor no later than June 6, 2014.
18.    Gold level Sponsor will also receive a minimum of 4 live mentions in daily radio spots during the 2 week period prior the event and during ILBBQF on 93.3 WSLP FM and ROCK 105
19.    Gold Level Sponsor’s logo will appear on all volunteer t-shirts.
20.    Logo and links on the homepage for ILBBQF www.ilbbqf.com.
21.    10 complimentary general admission tickets per day.

Official Silver Level Sponsor – $1000

1.    Right to use the ILBBQF Logo and marks as well as terminology as an Official Silver Level Sponsor in its advertising, promotional, public relations, sales materials and internal communication.
2.    Silver Level Sponsor will have a designated area (10 x 10) for sales, display and company giveaway products.
3.    Silver Level sponsors will the right to display 4 banners (size 3’ x 6’) in the event areas. The banners must be provided by the sponsor.
4.    Silver Level sponsor will be recognized in all ILBBQF promotional materials including, but not limited to newsletters, flyers, advertisement, and posters. Full B&W page advertising in the official ILBBQF publication (2,000 copies).
5.    Silver Level Sponsor will receive 3 VIP accreditations per day, access to the VIP area and 3 VIP gift bags. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available at the VIP area starting noon on July 4th and through July 6th.  Dinner at the VIP area will be served only on July 4th and July 5th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
6.    Silver level Sponsor will also receive a minimum of 3 live mentions daily in radio spots during the 2 week period prior the event and during ILBBQF on 93.3 WSLP FM.

1.    Right to use the ILBBQF logo and marks as well terminology as the Bronze Level sponsor in its advertising, promotional materials including but not limited to newsletters, flyers, posters and internal communications.
2.    Bronze Level Sponsor will receive 2 VIP accreditations per day, access to the VIP area and 2 VIP gift bags. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available at the VIP area starting noon on July 4th and through July 6th.  Dinner at the VIP area will be served only on July 4th and July 5th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
3.    Bronze Level Sponsor will receive a minimum of 2 live mentions in radio spots during the 2 week  period prior the event and during the ILBBQF on 93.3 WSLP FM and ROCK 105
4.    The ILBBQF will identify an Official Bronze Level sponsor in ILBBQF promotional materials including but not limited to newsletters, flyers, advertising.  Half page B & W ad in ILBBQF official publication (2,000 copies).
5.    2 banners (2 x 4) will be displayed at the venue. Banner must be provided by the Official Bronze Level sponsor of ILBBQF.

Friends of I love Barbecue & Music Festival – $300

1.    Friends of ILBBQF with receive 2 VIP accreditations per day, access to the VIP area. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available at noon at the VIP area starting on July 4th and through July 6th.  Dinner at the VIP area will be served only on July 4th and July 5th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
